About John Henry 
 
John Henry has over 30 years of experience in industry. From 1976 until 1985 he was Engineering Manager, later Manager, Facility Operations, for Alcon Laboratories Humacao facility. In he gained a wealth of experience in the design, construction, and operation of a multi-plant sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing plants.
 
In 1985, he took over Automation Sales of PR. ASPR is a sales agency devoted to the design, sale and service of automated packaging, assembly and manufacturing equipment to the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, electrical, household products, plastic molding, stamping and other industries. He sold ASPR in 2007 in order to focus solely on changeover.
 
In 1994 he became interested in the problem of changeover and began studying it, assisting clients and developing a methodology for improvement. From this came Changeover.com. This is John's primary business focus today.
 
John taught for 22 years as an adjunct instructor in Southern New Hampshire University's graduate school of business.
 
Currently John teaches Packaging Technology as an adjunct instructor in the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico's graduate industrial engineering program.
 
John writes and speaks extensively of changeover and packaging issues including a monthly Machinery Matters column in Food and Beverage Packaging Magazine. www.foodandbeveragepackaging.com
 
John Has an MBA with a dual concentration in Industrial Management and Interpersonal Relations from InterAmerican University (1979). He has an MS in Business Education from Southern New Hampshire University (2004)
 
John is a founding member and former board member of the Institute for Pharmaceutical Engineering www.ispe.org
 
John is a longtime member and former director of the Institute of Packaging Professionals www.iopp.org He holds a lifetime certification as a Certified Packaging Professional (CPP).
